XD .45 is a perfect fit in this holster. Draws and holsters smooth, much better than the XD factory holster. Perfect for concealed carry.

Pistol fits perfect, enters and exits the holster smooth. If you plan on running or jumping while carrying you would probably want the Serpa type with gun restraint but otherwise this holster is perfect for the XD.
